At New year we unfortunately broke a large (1200 x 800)side window on our Sunliner motorhome. As this size window was not stocked in New Zealand, Glenn the foreman from Recreational Concepts in Whangarei, contacted Dometic Australia, who had the window in stock but were not keen on sending just one as it would be too costly, although Glenn did inform them that it was covered by Insurance. However a few days later Dometic Australia made contact with Recreational Concepts and told them a motorhome dealer in Christchurch was getting a window sent over in a new vehicle he was importing. turns out that the dealer was Neil from freedom RV, the dealer who sold us the motorhome. Between Glenn and Neil they got the job sorted, Covi approved the claim and in a couple of weeks the window was here and installed. Ken, Glenys and Glenn, the New Management team at Recreational Concepts, Whangarei, are certainly providing the best of service to motorhomers, and along with neil From Freedom RV, these people who go the extra distance certainly deserve our support.

After having the overhead cab vent and air conditioning unit on our motorhome roof smashed while on holiday, they fitted a new air vent and had the air conditioning unit sealed so we could be on our way. The efficiency and friendliness of the foreman and staff was exceptional.

It is such a difference having qualified trades people that have the ability to undertake warranty repairs in a professional manner. It is the first time that we have had warranty repairs undertaken where I have received the vehicle back in better condition than when it went in.
